We are excited to share the newly designed Job Tracking, offering a smoother and more intuitive experience when viewing and interacting with your jobs. These improvements build on features you already love, making them even better.
All of your job information is now collated into one easy view once you have opened the job. You can download your documents, including TMPs, Job Details pack, and more. View your photos for the site and even get directions to the location. An easy Call the Client button as well as opening the OSR Mobile App (android only).
A quick Return to Calendar, My Tasks, Timesheets, and more menu bar at the bottom of the screen allows you to switch from one screen to another within seconds.

Most field workers will notice that the previous “dotdotdot” icon is now replaced with a big “Open Job” button, making it much easier to use on phones or tablets.
If you still see the “dotdotdot” icon, it means you have a different type of access, allowing you to open more from the Calendar view. Continue to use the “dotdotdot” icon, and then find the “Open Job” icon at the top right-hand corner.
The content is presented in a clear and well-organised way. The information is presented clearly without unnecessary jargon. I printed some parts to have them available while working. It is rare to find content so well structured on this topic.
The improvements in Job Tracking seem to emphasize user experience significantly, but I wonder if they truly address the underlying efficiency issues. The interface might be more intuitive, yet the reliance on mobile devices raises concerns about accessibility for all workers. It's similar to how Neon Vegas creates an appealing atmosphere but may distract from the core tasks at hand. A balance is needed between aesthetics and functionality.
The changes outlined indeed present an interesting shift in how users interact with Job Tracking. By emphasizing usability and accessibility, these updates aim to cater to a wide range of field workers. It’s intriguing to consider how such enhancements will influence workflow efficiency. However, I wonder if all users, including those with different access types like Mr Fortune, will adapt seamlessly to the new interface.
